OUR
MINISTRIES
We believe the ministries we are involved in will help bring our Faith Community closer to Jesus. As we become closer to Jesus, we will want to do the will of the Father. As we do the will of the Father, we become a light in our community and a reflection of Jesus.

Please, join us on our journey with Jesus!
Kid's Ministry
The Children's Ministry of Marlette First Church is designed to instill Bible knowledge through Song and Biblical stories and application. As a Christ-centered church we believe the children are a gift from God and we want to treat them as such.
Ministry Times:
Wednesdays (School Year Only): 5:15 pm (meal)/6:00-7:00 (Songs/Teaching/Games) for Pre-K - Grade 5
Every Sunday: Children's Church for Pre-K - Grade 8
Youth Ministry
Youth Group is for Grade 6 - 12 and meet every Wednesday, even throughout the summer months. We meet at 5:15 pm for a meal and begin at 6:00 pm with a lesson, discussion and games. It is a great time of teaching God's Word and discussing its impact on their lives. Times vary throughout the summer months.
Music Ministry
We believe the Scriptures and with that said, we believe God is honored when worship Him and we sing our praise to Him. We sing a variety of song styles, from Hymns to Contemporary. Please join us as we worship through song. Every Sunday at 10:30 am
Mission Ministry (Local/National/International)
Acts 1:8 reads, "You shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

This passage embodies this ministry: Jerusalem symbolizes Marlette and the surrounding area, Judea symbolizes the state of Michigan, Samaria symbolizes the United States, and the Remotest parts of the World symbolize beyond our borders.

At First Church, we believe in reaching everyone with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
Small Groups
We have many small group Bible studies. Our Small Groups engage in Bible based studies throughout the year. Everyone is welcome our small group.
A group of people who meet regularly for the purpose of spiritual edification and evangelistic outreach . . . are committed to participate in the functions of the local church.

Family Ministries
The future of Marlette First Church is found in the Family. The family is not only found in the "traditional" family unit, but also single parents, guardians, and foster families. Marlette First Church is preparing for this future ministry actively and passionately. Please be patient as we work out the details.
